Developed in-house, IE engineers are equipped with industry-leading tuning technology to completely reverse engineer the factory mapping and safely modify it to maximize performance. Years of professional tuning high-powered race vehicles and intimate knowledge of the VW & Audi engines results in a wicked fast car on the street or the track. The IE Stage 1 B8 & B8.5 S4 3.0T tune delivers an aggressive power upgrade without having to install any hardware modifications. Perfect for customers looking for a big jump in power without adding any additional hardware. In a matter of minutes, the vehicle will be much more enjoyable to drive with a massive boost in performance.
The IE Stage 2 Tune for B8 & B8.5 S4 recalibrates the ECU to take advantage of a smaller diameter supercharger pulley. This faster supercharger speed allows more airflow and higher boost pressures. The result is a powerful engine with a significant increase in power and torque across the rev range. Bottom end torque especially is increased.  Files are available from American 91 octane up to Sunoco GT260+ 104 Octane Unleaded. A heat exchanger upgrade is recommended at this stage, but not required. 


Ready to unleash serious power? IE's Stage 2 Double Pulley ECU calibration is for owners running both the smaller supercharger charger pulley along with an additional larger crank pulley. These two pulley's combined create the optimal supercharger ratio resulting in up to 534HP and 520TQ! Available in 91, 93, 100, and 104 octanes along with a specialty E40 (pump plus E85 mixed) blend. A heat exchanger is required for this modification. If you intend to use the E40 blend, a high-pressure fuel pump upgrade is also required. 

IE's pump fuel 91/93 tunes are specially calibrated with safe air to fuel mixtures which inhibit "knocking". These mixtures also provide cooler exhaust gas temperature and thus are safer for the 3.0T's fragile catalytic converters then many competition tunes.


The IE Stage 2 Dual Pulley Tune offers you tons of power potential on multiple octanes options including support for E40. The S4 B8/B8.5 factory fuel system cannot safely support the amount of fuel needed for full E85 even with an HPFP upgrade, however, it can support a maximum blend of ethanol to E40. E40 is an ethanol mix of E85 with regular pump 91/93 fuel (about 2/5ths E85 and 3/5ths 91/93 with E10 premium gas). To run this fuel safely, it must be pre-mixed and verified before filling into an empty tank. You can read our blog article on how to safely blend ethanol HERE


The Audi 3.0T engine continues to make power beyond the factory rev limiter, especially when power adders such as upgraded pullies are added. Our files allow the engine to access all of that power by increasing the rev limiter. Requires matching IE DSG /transmission calibration on S-Tronic Cars.

IE's own easy to use Flash Wizard Software allows the IE POWERlink Tool to communicate with your vehicle's ECU to flash software tunes, upgrade, update, data log, or read/write codes. The software download is included with your tune/cable purchase and operates on any Windows 7+ powered laptop or tablet. The software is very simple to use and once installed will walk you through the fast tuning process to deliver instant horsepower. 




After completely reverse engineering the factory ECU, our engineers use our in-house Dynapack DP42 dynamometer to perform repeated runs to test each change that is made to the software and confirm drivability in any situation. This ensures IE performance software delivers massive horsepower and torque increases across the entire powerband. Using our in-house dyno and advanced tuning tools, IE engineers have fully optimized every aspect of the factory ECU mapping on many different vehicles. This produces a tune that retains all factory like driving and safety protocols when needed, and an intense surge of power when you want it.

The factory ECU speed limiter has been removed to make sure the increased power and torque can be used to its full potential on straightaways and drag strips.

With the significant power increase, the rev limiter is also increased to allow a wider powerband on all IE Audi S4 files. By increasing the rev limit, you gain a perfect match for the increased performance available from your new IE performance software tune.

To further increase the responsive feel of the car, IE engineers have carefully adjusted the throttle sensitivity. This offers a more connected feeling to your car with plenty of power available right beneath your foot.

All IE tunes have been adjusted to run as economically as possible, dialing in air/fuel ratios to exactly where they need to be. With an IE performance ECU flash, it is common to see increased fuel economy under cruising and part-throttle driving.

Whoa - this is great!
Holy cow, flashed Stage I today and what a difference! I purchased Stage II as well and will flash as soon as I get around to installing the pulley. I am most impressed with the increase in torque and overall drivability of the car. It pulls and pulls. Love it! Oh, and dealing with IE was a great experience. Super responsive and knowledgeable. Keep up the good work guys. Highly recommended!

Better than 034 Motorsports
I have a 2013 Audi S4 6spd with IE stage 1 tune. I had the chance to roll race another 2013 Audi S4 DSG with a 034 Motorsports Stage 1 tune. We raced from 40mph to 110mph. By the time I hit 110mph, I was ahead by almost a school bus and I had an extra passenger. After the race he asked if I was running Stage 2 with a Single pulley, told him just Stage 1. Then he asked if I was running e40 blend and again told him just Stage 1. He couldn't believe how much distance I put on him just by being tuned with IE. I will always highly recommend!!!

14 Q5 3.0t 93 Stage 1 Review
Working with this company is a complete joy; they answered every question and every email. I ended up with two tunes, one for my 8P and this 93 Stage 1 for my Q5 3.0t. Yes this is compatible with the Q5 3.0t. The gains were huge for the detuned 3.0t. On the road it is night and day difference, it pulls so hard for its size and weight. This is on the stock ZF-8 transmission with no flash, which it handled the power bump with no issues. I highly recommend this for all Q5 3.0t owners, you get SQ5 performance for 10k-15K less!

Completely worth it!
Totally worth it! Rode in an APR TUNED S4, a GIAC S4 and am IE S4, all wrapped out with the dual Pulley set up each tune offers, OE intake and exhaust except the APR car which had an APR Intake, as well as using the exact same fuel from the same pump (95 octane) All three cars switched to the 93 octane tune, pull after pull the IE car took the rest. All be it all of them were quick, but after riding in each car, the IE car seemed the most well tuned, it was smooth, powerful through the whole powerband, you could tell this tune was well put togetherness which is why I bought it for my 6MT S4 w/ sport rear diff. Can’t wait!

Totally worth the money
I came from having another competitions software. I bought ie’s stage 2 single pulley and stage 2 and dsg software. Let’s just say it was a completely different car now. Power is instant at any rpm. Pulls super hard and shifts amazing. Car is a beast now. Worth every Pennie. A must buy!!

How it should have came from the factory!
Can't say enough good things about Integrated's Stage 1 tune. When coupled with their DSG tune, I made 351awhp and 314awtq on a notoriously low reading Mustang dyno in my 2013 S4. Driveability has not changed at all - if anything, the car has gotten even easier to drive. And it RIPS at full throttle! I love it, and can't recommend it enough.

Amazing company and software
What can I say this stage 2 is hands down the best out there. The costumer service goes way beyond to help you out with any and all questions. I was doing lots of research about all of the different brands out there and once I walked into this place I was sold I have never been treated with so much respect from everyone there. They stayed late to help me out and answer my questions and were so excited to explain everything to me. This stage 2 is so nice and puts the biggest smile on my face every time I get in the car wow I wish everyone could experience this cause they would buy it right away. I know this company will always have me as a customer as I am amazed by them.
