A calibration engineer will utilize chassis and engine dynamometers to optimize performance and reliability of both engines and transmissions calibrations. This position will develop calibrations for new and existing platforms, support customers with existing calibrations, and aid in the development of motorsport functions. Calibrations will be focused on VAG family of engines and transmissions. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team will guide development, proficiency with email and other office software will be necessary.

WinOLS and other common aftermarket calibration tools
Analyzing data logs to identify issues with hardware or calibration for customer support
3+ years of professional experience in development of engine performance systems

Work with customers to resolve issues

Automotive knowledge of performance parts is a must and specific knowledge of VW and Audi vehicles is considered a plus. The position is fast paced, requires multitasking, and flexibility in the professional workspace. People skills and communication are important in order to relay product features efficiently and differentiate IE products from the competition. This position deals with wholesale and retail customers.

We run our servers on Amazon Web Services and require Unix experience in order to manage these servers. Continuous Integration will be used to maintain the highest uptime, and development environment and automated testing procedures will be used to maintain an error-free user experience. Agile methodologies are standard throughout software development, though not required, understanding of these methodologies will greatly improve the candidate's success. Organizational skills are a must, deadlines must be met on time, self-motivation is required for this position.
